Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 package ladyfingers savoiardi
  • Fresh blackberries & lemon zest for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  • Simmer until soft, mash slightly, and strain if desired. Let cool.
  • Beat mascarpone with powdered sugar until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip cream to soft peaks.
  • Fold into mascarpone gently.
