- 2 tablespoons butter plus extra for greasing
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup wild blueberries plus 2 tablespoons for glaze
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract for glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Grease a 6-hole donut tin.
Melt butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Add sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
Sift in flour, then add baking powder and salt. Fold halfway.
Add blueberries and gently fold until just combined.
Pipe batter into donut tin and smooth tops.
Bake for 13–15 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then on a rack.
