For the Steak:
- 1 lb 450 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch optional, for tenderness
For the Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes adjust to heat preference
- 2 tbsp water
For the Pasta:
- 8 oz 225 g spaghetti
- Salt for boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the spaghetti until al dente, according to package instructions.
Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
Toss drained pasta with butter and set aside.
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels.
Season with salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and cornstarch (if using). Mix to coat evenly.
