Ingredients
  

  • Ground pork
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Coriander root
  • Black peppercorns
  • Garlic cloves
  • Carrots finely diced
  • Green onions finely chopped
  • Dried shiitake mushrooms soaked and chopped
  • Golden Mountain sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • White sugar
  • Sesame oil
  • Cornstarch or tapioca starch
  • Egg
  • Garlic oil

Instructions
 

  • Pound coriander root, garlic, and peppercorns into a rough paste.
  • Mix Golden Mountain sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
  • Blend pork, sauce mix, egg, and starch until smooth.
  • Combine pork mixture with spice paste and chopped veggies.
  • Fill and shape dumplings with wonton wrappers.
  • Steam over parchment for 10 minutes.

Notes

Substitute cilantro stems if coriander root isn’t available.
You can pan-fry or boil the dumplings for different textures.
