Ingredients
  

  • 4 cod fillets 6 oz each, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Pat cod dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear cod for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Add butter and garlic, spooning over fish as it finishes cooking.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over cod and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
