These juicy orange chicken bites are pan-seared and coated in a sticky, flavorful sauce made with fresh orange juice, honey, ginger, and soy. Served over rice and finished with sesame seeds and green onions, they’re perfect for a quick, satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • cup freshly squeezed orange juice from ~1 large orange
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1½ to 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Tbsp unsalted butter
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Whisk soy sauce, orange juice, honey, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Marinate chicken in mixture for 20 minutes.
  • Sear chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through.

  • Add reserved marinade and butter to pan.
  • Boil for 1 minute to thicken.

Notes

  • For crispier chicken, pat it dry before cooking and don’t overcrowd the pan.
