For the Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound sliced baby bella mushrooms or white button mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Burgers
- 1 pound ground beef 80/20
- 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 hamburger buns recommended: brioche buns
In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir, then cook undisturbed for 5 minutes.
Add beef broth and cook until mostly evaporated (8–10 mins).
Stir in garlic and pepper. Cook 3–4 more minutes. Remove from heat.
