- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon extract optional
- 21 oz lemon pie filling or lemon curd
Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a 9×9-inch dish.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add buttermilk, vanilla, and lemon extract. Stir until smooth.
Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir).
Spoon lemon filling on top evenly.
