- 12 lasagna noodles cooked and drained
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish optional
Boil lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and lay flat.
In a skillet, cook onion and beef until browned. Drain fat.
Add marinara, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Spread ricotta mixture on noodles, top with meat sauce, and roll up.
