The tropical flavor of ripe kiwi combined with lemon and sugar creates a perfect balance of sweet and tart. This easy-to-make sorbet is a crowd-pleaser and a great way to cool down!

- 6 ripe kiwis peeled and quartered
- ¾ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 1 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat.
Stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
Puree kiwis in a blender until smooth.
(Optional) Strain the kiwi puree to remove seeds.
Mix strained puree with cooled syrup and lemon juice. Chill for 2 hours.
Churn in an ice cream maker, or freeze in a shallow dish, stirring every 30 minutes.
