- 1 lb 450g peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1¼ cups dry white cooking wine
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- Juice from ½ medium lemon
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese to garnish
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley pinch of red pepper flakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp and sauté until pink and opaque on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter to the same skillet and let it melt.
Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in white wine and lemon juice.
Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces by half (about 5 minutes).
