Ingredients
  

Peach Filling:

  • 5 –6 large fresh yellow peaches sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional

Cobbler Topping:

  • ½ cup salted butter melted
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup turbinado sugar optional

To Serve:

  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Smear butter in 9×13-inch dish, add sliced peaches and sugar.
  • Mix butter, sugar, vanilla, flour, baking powder, and salt to form batter.
  • Spoon topping over peaches.
  • Bake 30 minutes, then top with turbinado sugar.
  • Bake another 10–15 minutes, broil briefly until golden.

Notes

  • You can use frozen or canned peaches when fresh aren’t in season—just drain well.
  • Turbinado sugar adds a caramelized crunch, but regular sugar works too.
  • For a twist, add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to the peach filling.
