- 4 chicken thighs boneless, skinless or bone-in
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 6 cups water
- 2 carrots sliced
- 2 celery ribs sliced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 5 oz egg noodles about 2 cups
In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, and water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer 25 minutes.
Remove chicken, shred it, and set aside.
Add vegetables and bay leaves to broth. Simmer 12–15 minutes.
Return chicken to pot and add noodles.
