  • 3 large overripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips divided

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mash bananas.
  • Add oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in 3/4 cup chocolate chips.
