- 1 tablespoon kosher salt or Tajín for rimming
- 1 grapefruit wedge
- 2 oz tequila blanco
- 1½ oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice from 1 large lime
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 oz grapefruit soda like Squirt or Jarritos
Rub the rim of a highball or rocks glass with a grapefruit wedge.
Dip into salt or Tajín to coat. Fill with ice.
In a shaker, combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and bitters.
Add ice and shake for 20 seconds.
Strain into the prepared glass.
Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently.
