A simple and refreshing iced tea made with black tea bags, served over ice with lemon and mint — a timeless summer favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 –8 black tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup granulated sugar optional
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Boil 4 cups water. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5–10 mins.
  • Discard tea bags. Stir in sugar while warm (if using).
  • Add 4 cups cold water. Let cool, then refrigerate 2+ hours.
  • Serve over ice with lemon and mint.
