Ingredients
  

  • ~1.25 lb slow-roasted corned beef
  • ½ loaf marble rye bread
  • 10 oz sauerkraut Crescent Moon’s secret mix
  • ½ lb Swiss cheese
  • 6 oz Thousand Island dressing

Instructions
 

  • Refrigerate all perishable items upon arrival (corned beef, kraut, cheese, dressing).
  • Store bread at room temperature or freeze for later use.
  • Preheat a skillet or griddle to medium heat.
  • Spread dressing on inside of two bread slices.
  • Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.
  • Close the sandwich and butter the outer sides.

Notes

  • You can substitute Russian dressing for Thousand Island if preferred.
  • If sauerkraut is too wet, drain it slightly before adding to the sandwich.
  • Grill sandwiches in batches if your skillet can’t hold them all at once.
  • Use a sandwich press for perfectly even grilling.
