Ingredients
  

Oatmeal:

  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats

Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine milk, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in oats. Simmer 3–5 minutes, stirring, until thickened. Cover and let sit 3 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for topping.
  • Microwave cream cheese 10 seconds.
  • Stir in confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spoon oatmeal into bowls. Drizzle with cinnamon topping and cream cheese glaze.
