Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ yellow onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and seasoning; simmer 5 minutes.
  • Boil noodles; drain.
  • Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, and noodles.
  • Layer half the noodles and sauce in the baking dish; repeat.
