- 1 lb 450 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 14 oz 400 g crab meat (or imitation crab)
- 1 ¼ cups 150 g cod or haddock fillets, cut into chunks
- 1 cup 130 g frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup 240 ml heavy cream
- 2 ¼ cups 530 ml chicken or seafood broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 package 11 oz / 311 g Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix (includes cheese and seasoning)
- ¾ cup 180 ml milk
- ¼ cup 60 g melted butter
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the shrimp, crab, and fish just until the shrimp turns pink. Remove from heat.
In the same pot, add broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the mixed vegetables and the cooked seafood.
Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
