Ingredients
  

Cookies:

  • ½ cup 113g butter, room temperature
  • cup 80ml light olive oil
  • ½ cup 100g granulated sugar
  • cup 40g powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups 240g all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt omit if using salted butter
  • 1 chai tea bag contents only

Icing:

  • 1 cup 120g powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp 30ml whole milk, added gradually
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Dash of cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Beat butter until creamy, then mix in olive oil.
  • Add sugar, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and chai tea leaves.
  • Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Form 2-inch balls and place on baking sheet.

Notes

Flavor Boost: Use 1½ chai tea bags if you like stronger spice.
