Simple and elegant appetizer featuring cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil — finished with a tangy balsamic reduction.

- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls bocconcini or ciliegine
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Toothpicks or small skewers
In a small saucepan, simmer balsamic vinegar over medium-low heat until reduced by half. Set aside.
Assemble skewers with one tomato, one basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball each.
Arrange skewers on a platter. Drizzle and season with salt and pepper.
Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic reduction.
