These beautiful Candied Orange Slices are sweet, chewy, and bursting with citrus flavor. Perfect as a snack, cake decoration, or edible gift, they’re simmered in simple syrup until translucent and optionally coated in sugar for a sparkling finish.

- 2 –3 medium oranges sliced ⅛–¼ inch thick
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- Optional: additional sugar for coating
Slice oranges and remove seeds.
Make syrup with sugar and water.
Simmer slices in syrup for 45–60 mins until translucent.
Dry on rack for 24 hours.
Optionally coat with sugar.
