- 300 g rigatoni pasta
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish optional
Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
Toss pasta with meat sauce and transfer to a greased baking dish.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
