Cultural and Arts Committee

P4PD  is an educational organization whose aim is to heighten understanding and appreciation of the rich history and culture of Palestine.  This aim is pursued through programs that both enhance Palestinian-Americans' pride in their heritage, as well as introduce Palestinian culture to the general American public.  Examples include:

-Organizing viewings of traditional and historical Palestinian dress.

-Organizing events featuring traditional Palestinian dance, music, and folklore.

-Participating in local cultural festivals to feature Palestinian food, dress, music, art, and handcrafts.

-Hosting lectures.
